How to Measure Yourself Correctly Bras, bodyshapers and basques - To find your bra size - measure firmly around your ribcage, just under your bust. Make sure that the tape measure is flat and straight across your back. If the measurement is even ad 4"; if the measurement is odd add 5".
To find your cup size - measure around your bust at the fullest part, in the same way. The difference between this measurement and your bra size determines your cup size. If this measurement is the same as your bra size, your cup is A. 1" greater = B cup, 2" greater = C cup, 3" greater = D cup, 4" greater = DD cup.
Waist measurement - measure around your body at the natural waistline.
Hip measurement - measure around the fullest part, 8" below the waist. |
